Introductory Letter
From the Desk of Professor Betsy Alden

Dear Colleague,

I’m pleased to share with you a special membership offer from Ms. magazine created especially for Women’s Studies faculty and staff.

I took advantage of this special and recently offered the Ms. Classic Pak in my "Women as Leaders in Public Policy" class. I’m delighted to report that at the end of the semester, all my students proudly called themselves feminists!

Assigning a Ms. membership as one of the “required texts” for my course (with the special student rate that comes with the Classic Pak) keeps our class discussions current throughout the semester — and the membership goes beyond the class!

Over its thirty year history, Ms. has been a part of classrooms across the country. A mainstay of the women’s movement, Ms. has influenced personal life and public policy, classroom discussions and national debate. I hope you’ll join me in sharing Ms. with your students this semester.

Sincerely,

Betsy Alden
