Six boys, the eldest of whom is a mere 11 years old, have been accused of raping a 7-year-old girl. The boys allegedly took the girl into a wooded area, removed her clothing and sexually assaulted her.
The girl and her mother reported the rape to police, and identified four ten-year-old boys, one eleven-year old boy, and one six-year-old boy as the perpetrators.
The attack occurred only days after an eleven-year-old Chicago girl was struck in the head with a rock, sexually assaulted, and murdered by two younger boys, ages 7 and 8.
