Popular feminist blog Feministing.com is in the running for several Blogger’s Choice Awards, including the Best Blog of All Time and the Best Political Blog, for which it currently ranks in the top three. The winners of the awards, determined by popular vote, will be announced at the blog conference PostieCon in Las Vegas, NV on November 10.
Jessica Valenti, 28, started the blog because, “Young women are rarely given the opportunity to speak on their own behalf on issues that affect their lives and futures,” according to the site. "Feministing provides a platform for us to comment, analyze and influence."
