It also happens in other species. They have been written about in journals for years. It's unfortunate that nature only comes to the attention of certain people when it suits their perspective. If only we could figure out a way to learn that we have something to learn from nature, and what God, in His wisdom, put on this earth. Females, males, and intersexed... Hmmmmmm... Also, it is my understanding that most medical schools do not teach about the proceedure(s) and most OB-GYN residency programs also do not. I'm not sure that is accurate because I've never seen such statistics; I'm guessing Guttmacher has studied the subject. Thanks for continuing to remind us about the incidious ways in which choices are more and more difficult to carry out. P.S. I would also add: don't go to physicians connected to a Catholic hopsital system (including those anticipating delivery a baby - "god forbid" you have complications)!
